Carnival is the latest cruise line to return to the friendly island of St Maarten in the wake of recovery since Hurricane Irma.
The ships Carnival Sunshine made a call to port on Monday and Carnival Pride called into port on Tuesday. The visit is the first of dozens of port calls to St Maarten in the coming weeks, according to a company statement.
The ships each brought more than 3,000 passengers to the island who all enjoyed a number of island excursions and activities along with a happening atmosphere in the heart of downtown Philipsburg.
