Traveling to St Maarten from The Netherlands?

Great news for travelers to St Maarten from The Netherlands – the island has been designated code yellow!

Over the weekend, authorities at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs adapted its travel advice for St Maarten. The island went from code orange, allowing only essential travel, to yellow – while there are safety risks, leisure travel is allowed.

“Due to the reduction in the number of infections with the coronavirus in St. Maarten, the risk has been lowered. That is why the colour code has been adapted from orange to yellow. After staying on St. Maarten, you don’t have to go into home quarantine for 10 days upon returning to the Netherlands,” it was stated on the travel advisory website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Travelers from The Netherlands booking a Sint Maarten vacation must adhere to the entry requirements found here.

St Maarten’s beautiful resort properties are open and welcoming guests. Don’t miss the Sonesta Maho Beach All Inclusive Resort, a plane spotters paradise and the perfect family getaway destination or the Holland House Beach Hotel, a renowned boutique hotel in the heart of Philipsburg. Whatever your preference, St Maarten has something for you!

Book today and save on these amazing things to do in St Maarten, and we’ll see you soon in paradise.
