Royal Caribbean’s 50th birthday cruise celebration is coming to St Maarten

June 5, 2019In a recent news article, Royal Dutch Airlines KLM announced that it will be resuming the direct Amsterdam-St. Maarten-Amsterdam flight for the coming winter season.
The successful direct route was previously operated with the Airbus A330-200 aircraft and stopped after Hurricane Irma struck the island in September 2017. With the island’s tourism on the rebound, a KLM spokesperson said that the demand for flights to St. Maarten has been growing, justifying the decision to resume the direct flights.
KLM will service St. Maarten with direct flights twice a week this winter season, which starts late October using the Airbus A330-200 aircraft for these flights carrying 268 passengers, including 18 in business class and the rest in economy/economy comfort.
