COVID-19 Travel Update: St Maarten Hotel Cancellation Policies

Your plans to visit St Maarten have very likely been disrupted due to the effects of COVID-19. It’s definitely a difficult time for us in St Maarten along with everyone else around the world.

Resorts, hotels and tourism stakeholders on the island have adopted flexible cancellation and rescheduling policies for those who have already made travel bookings. The following applies for travelers to St Maarten who made direct bookings with these properties. If you used an online travel booking service, please refer directly to them for assistance with your booking.

Divi Little Bay Beach Resort

DIVI RESORTS WORRY-FREE, CANCEL ANYTIME GUARANTEE

When you make a reservation for travel ANYTIME IN 2020, you can cancel and change your mind any time prior to arrival for any reason with no penalties. If you choose to reschedule your reservation during peak travel dates, you will only be responsible for the cost difference.*

*Terms & Conditions: All Divi Resorts cancellation and change penalties will be waived for new hotel bookings made for travel anytime through December 31, 2020. Cancellations or changes must be made prior to arrival. This does not include airfare cancellations or changes. If the reservation is rescheduled during peak travel dates, you will be responsible for the difference in cost. Simpson Bay Resort & Marina

At the Simpson Bay Resort & Marina, cancellations made from the moment of booking until 48 hours prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the full rental value. This 25% is non-refundable; however it may be used towards a new rental reservation. This new rental reservation is required to be equal or greater in value than the original reservation. Reservations canceled within 48 hours prior to arrival will be 100% non-refundable. Rules and requirements for re-booking a canceled reservation will appear on your cancellation letter.

Sonesta St Maarten Resorts

WORRY FREE CANCELATION TRAVEL – CANCEL UP TO 7 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL AT NO PENALTY

Sonesta St Maarten Resorts have adjusted their cancellation policy for any promotions booked by December 15, 2020 for travel through 2021, where guest can cancel up to 7 days prior to arrival at no penalty. This policy is applied automatically to all NEW reservations and combinable with all offers.
