Best Snorkeling Spots in St Maarten

St Maarten’s snorkeling spots offer some of the most exciting underwater adventures in the Caribbean. Whether you’re on vacation with the entire family or a couple’s getaway, snorkeling in St Maarten will never leave you disappointed.

Snorkeling at Pinel Island

Pinel Island used to have an underwater snorkeling trail with guided snorkeling tours before the hurricane in 2017. This service is not available anymore but life has returned to the reefs. You can take a trip to Pinel by boat tour or charter, then enter the sea by the rocks for the best snorkeling. Ferries to Pinel are also available from French Cul de Sac.

Dive in at Creole Rock

Creole Rock, as the name suggests, is a rock formation in the French side of St. Martin close to the fishing village of Grand Case, in the middle of the French Nature Reserve.
