May 7, 2014Whether you are searching for gleaming Caribbean white sandy beaches on St Maarten – St Martin, turquoise waters or the best surf, St Maarten’s tropical shores have something for everyone. Escape to paradise and tour our top 5 St Maarten – St Martin beaches.
Orient Bay Beach
Orient Bay Beach is a beautiful clothing optional escape. If you’re visiting the island and looking for watersport action and a lively atmosphere, here’s the place to find it.
Happy Bay Beach
To get to this lovely, remarkably deserted beach, you’ll have to do so by boat or by a short hike from nearby Friars Bay beach; bring a snorkel and fins.
Pinel Island
This tiny offshore cay makes for a wonderful day trip with a perfect lagoon-type area to paddle around in. Just a short 3 minute dinghy ride from the shores of mainland St Martin. Book an exciting island tour by speedboat with stops at Pinel. The Santino also offers a scenic island cruise to Pinel.
Le Galion Beach
Encircled and protected by a reef, Le Galion Beach is a prime family beach. The steady breezes lure windsurfers, too. It’s a great place to come and glide, and have a nice time.
Mullet Bay Beach
The blue pearlescent waters are calm, and the snorkeling is quite enjoyable along the rocky shoreline. Beach chairs, rum, food as well as some low key activities can be found here! This St Maarten Power Cat offers a fun day tour boat trip around the island with beach time at Mullet Bay!
