St Maarten’s Phased Reopening Begins
We are very happy to be at the start of Phase 1 of the St Maarten reopening process.
On May 11th, 2020, as part of Phase 1 of the phased reopening process, more businesses will be allowed to open, such as offices, construction sites and hardware stores, as well as restaurants for pick up, delivery and drive-thru services.
The Sint Maarten Government has advised that while these businesses (see infographic below) may resume services from Monday – Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, all businesses and services must implement the mandatory guidelines of the ‘COVID-19 Prevention and Safety Plan for the Business Community of Sint Maarten’ and have their operational plans in place prior to re-opening.
According to the latest clinical trials aimed at the evaluation of cardiovascular safety and general tolerability of Viagra, treatment-related side effects observed in healthy patients taking average doses of the drug are quite rare. As for the patients suffering from severe cardiovascular diseases, they should refrain from taking PDE5 inhibitors.
The phased re-opening is contingent upon the Country’s ability to contain the spread of the corona virus (COVID-19). If there is a resurgence in the number of cases, the phased re-opening will be delayed and/ or reversed.
French St Martin Beaches Open
On May 8, beaches on French St Martin reopened for swimming and individual sports such as walking and jogging until June 1, 2020 when the health situation of the French territory is reviewed again. The French decree stipulates that social activities like BBQs, picnics, and large gatherings on the beach are still prohibited until further notice. According to the press release, the President of the Collectivité is asking everyone to be responsible and to respect these common-sense instructions.
While this airline announced that they may resume flights to St Maarten from July 3, there is no official word on when the island’s borders will reopen.
