St Maarten’s popular Oyster Bay Beach Resort recently announced the first phase of its reopening since the passing of Hurricane Maria.
“We are on schedule to open on June 1, 2018,” the property said in its most recent update. The press release went on to share that construction crews are working to complete the reconstruction and repairs of 68 units to be ready by June 1, which will also include the lobby, check-in, the spa, gym, laundry and “shipwreck” shop.
Repairs and upgrades to the resort’s pool and jacuzzi, an updated pool deck and the addition of a rock wall feature, among other changes is also scheduled for the June reopening.
