It’s been almost two years since the passing of major hurricanes Irma and Maria that struck St Maarten in September 2017. Today, the island has made great strides in returning to normal and boosting its tourism product.

Flights to St Maarten from Toronto and Montréal with Air Canada, Sunwing and Air Transat have also resumed regular service. SXM Airport expects to be fully operational by the first quarter of 2020.
More than 65 percent of resorts, hotels and time-shares throughout the island have now re-opened including the popular Sonesta Maho Beach All Inclusive Resort, Grand Case Beach Club resort and Simpson Bay Resort.
And more good news – nearly all activities, from zip-lining, ATV tours, and horseback riding to sailing, kayaking, scuba diving and rum tastings, are available! Book ahead of time and save 15% or more. Click here to book things to do in St Maarten.
