Simpson Bay Resort set to reopen in March

St Maarten’s popular Simpson Bay Resort is among a number of properties making a comeback after the recent hurricanes.

The resort has been operational for several months although it has urged guests to delay travel plans until early March given the need for a recovery in tourism infrastructure on the island.

The Villas at Simpson Bay Resort reopening timed well with the annual St Maarten Heineken Regatta which was held over this past weekend as well as the island’s premier Carnival scheduled for April. Guests were well impressed with the resort and its amenities posting several pictures and updates in our Travelers Who Love St Maarten Facebook group.
